An Beachaire, subtitled The Irish Beekeeper, is published by Federation of Irish Beekeepers' Associations of which it is the official organ. The Irish word for bee is "beach", with "an beachaire"meaning "the beekeeper". An Beachaire was established in 1881 and reconstituted in 1943. For 2009, the volume no. is 64. The combined July and August edition is numbered No. 7/8 to maintain the correspondence with the month number.See also
