History

In the early 1950, all the cemeteries in Tehran were replaced by several large new ones outside the precincts of the capital. Behesht-e Zahran was built in 1951 near the City of Qom

 and Opened in 1952. The first person that buried in Behesht-e Zahra was Mohammad-Taghi Khial.
