Ben Hackworth is an Australian writer and film director
. He is the son of retired Colonel David Hackworth.
He graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts
in 2000, where he received the highest marks for a graduating student.
In 2005, he completed a Masters of Film with his script for a feature film called The Serpent. In 2006, he was accepted into the prestigious Cannes Film Festival
residence to develop this project in Paris.
