Career

Victor’s first work to receive attention was a life-size statue of the biblical character Samson, sculpted when the artist was a sophomore art major at Northern State University, South Dakota. The piece garnered a scholarship for Victor in recognition of his aesthetic and conceptual integrity in art from the prestigious National Sculpture Society in New York City.
At 23 years old, Victor received his first large commission, the trilogy of soldier sculptures for the Aberdeen’s Regional Airport War Memorial.
