Career
He started his career as a valuer at the Sabah Lands & Surveys Department in 1978. Then he left the public sector and worked as a private valuer for about five years from 1980 until 1985. He was also active in various organisations and now he was a committee member of the National Finance Committee. He held other positions such as a member of International Parliamentarian Against Genocide in Bosnia Herzegovina, former president of Jaycees Penampang and former president of Sabah Economy & Development Native Institute (Institut Kemajuan Ekonomi Anak Negeri Sabah).Political career
