Geography

Bever has an area, , of 45.7 km² (17.6 sq mi). Of this area, 14.5% is used for agricultural purposes, while 14.9% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 1.3% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (69.3%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
