Beyond Jazz was the name of XM Satellite Radio
's Progressive Jazz music channel. The program director for Beyond Jazz was Russ Davis.
The channel was described as "The greats of the Jazz-fusion era, stars of modern eclectic and acoustic jazz, new jazz singers, jambands, acid jazz and techno jazz." Beyond Jazz was removed from XM's lineup on November 12, 2008.
The program director, Russ Davis, along with the host of "Jammin' Jazz", Michelle Sammartino have launched a website which promises to provide programming similar to that which aired on the now defunct channel. The link is russdavismoja.com
