Bhoite Saranjam was one of the Political saranjam
in British India under Bombay Presidency
. Its Capital was Jalgaon City. It was one of the Maratha Jagir. Its ruler was from from the Hindu Kshatriya dynasty of Marathas named Bhoite.
The ruler was honoured by the titles such as Pargana Vatandar, Jagirdar and Inamdar being Saranjamdar (Holder of Saranjam). The rulers have their root from Satara District Villages Viz. Tadawale, Wagholi
, Hingangaon
and Aradgaon
. Current descendants ancestor Shrimant Sardar Tulajirao Bhoite Sarkar established Capital Jalgaon and built a fortress referred to as Bhoite Gadhi with his ancestors. He had taken active part in the Third Battle of Panipat
for Marathas and Showed excellent bravery.
Bhoite Saranjams ruler was brother branches of Bhoite Sarnoubat and Senakartas of Satara and prominent among Maratha Politics.
Bhoite Saranjam is referred to as Jalgaon Saranjams. Its notable ruler was Shrimant Sardar Trimbakrao Bapurao Bhoite Inamdar, Saranjamdar of Jalgaon, was Magistrate and Chairman of Municipal Standing Committee, Jalgaon ( East Khandesh ), Chairman of the East Khandesh District Central Co-operative Bank, President of Taluka Developement Association. He succeeded after his father and done many notable works in various fields to establish foundation of Modern Jalgaon. His descendants scattered to rest places of Khandesh but many lives in the city of Jalgaon. Jalgaon was capital of Bhoite Saranjams and whole Eastern Khandesh province had an area of 4544 mi², and a population of 957,728 in 1901. This Saranjam was annexed on November 1, 1952 according to The Bombay Saranjams and Jagirs and other Inams of Political Nature Resumption Rules, 1952. The Ruler Bhoites lost their many such estates in current district of Jalgaon by The Bombay Personal Inams (Abolition) Act, 1952 on August 1, 1953.
