. Inter-religious relations in Bhoom have been marked by remarkable peace and this town has been hallmark of a communal harmony in this region. Bhoom practically never faced any communal riots in its entire history. Allam Prabhu which is a sort of composite deity for both Hindu and Muslim communities, has acted as a place where both communities pray together and freely mingle. Kunthalgiri is the Jain religion's ancient famous temple very near to Bhoom. Kunthalgiri is also famous for "Pedha", a sweet.

Bhoom is divided between two areas, Kasba

 and Peth by the Banganga river. Kasba is a more traditional village type area with most of the people involved in the farming occupation. Peth is more cosmopolitan where people of various professions live together. Bhoom has further grown in the more white collar Samarth Nagar and new colonies near the college. Banganga and Ramganga dams provide water for drinking. Arsoli is the one of the village from Bhoom taluka.

The neighbourhoods of Bhoom include Ghandi chowk, Gavali galli, Sambhaji chowk, Maskar-Shendge Galli, Wadar Galli, Bagwan Galli, Pardhi Pedhi, Ramhari Nagar, Kusum Nagar Bhim Nagar and Shivaji Nagar. S.P.College is the only college in bhoom for the higher educations.
