Bill McNutt III is a graduate of Corsicana High School, where he was president of his class and co-captain of the football team. He earned a B.B.A., and later an M.L.A. Bill has an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, and served in the Reagan White House, the Presidential Transition Team, and worked for two years in the Bush 41 administration. Bill is a member of the board of Transition Capital Partners of Dallas, and International Direct Marketing Consultants Inc. Bill was also the founding president of the Southern Methodist University
's SMU Young Alumni Association, and is co-founder of Reef Equity Investments, LP of Dallas.
McNutt III was appointed to head the Texas Commission on the Arts, by Texas Gov. Rick Perry
in December 2009.
