Bishop Machebeuf is a college preparatory high school. Machebeuf's five core values are: Devotion to God, Academic Excellence, Ethnic & Cultural Variety, Community Service and Christian Morality.
At Machebeuf it is believed that to truly educate a student the whole person must be educated; body, mind heart and soul. The intellectual, spiritual and physical aspects of a person do not function separately but rather as a unified whole. At Machebeuf the education of all three aspects are not separated. Development of all three are encouraged throughout the high school experience. Students are required to take a core curriculum of; 4 credits of English, Math and Religion, 2 credits of a Foreign Language, 3.5 credits of Science and Social Studies, 1 credit of PE/Health and credits in Computer Apps and Fine Arts. The core curriculum is built so as to educate the three aspects of the human person. To further educate students spiritually, students are required to attend a grade level retreat each year of their high school career. The retreats foster a personal relationship with God through prayer as well as a strong school community based in faith. To further enhance students development of the body the school has a number of varsity and junior varsity athletic programs which compete in the 3A Denver Metropolitan League. Playing a sport is not required, however a large percentage of the student body participates in at least one sport and there are many two and three sport athletes. The athletic programs foster strong work ethics, dedication, discipline, team community, healthy competition and sportsmanship. The integration of faith, academics and athletics that consistently produce well rounded, confident and energetic graduates, makes Bishop Machebeuf High School an excellent school.
Campus Ministry is dedicated to fulfilling the mission of Bishop Machebeuf High School by providing formational experiences that will help students to grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
Three Divisions of Campus Ministry
The Campus Ministry program has three major divisions. Each division has a student director that coordinates the particular part of the program with the Campus Minister.
Liturgy
The liturgy division provides liturgical experiences for the entire student body. This primarily refers to the All School Liturgy which happen on a monthly basis. The liturgy division also assists the organization of First Friday Adoration days and monthly confession services.
Finally the liturgy division organizes All School prayer at BMHS including but not limited to: Opening and Closing of the school prayer and special prayer services during the liturgical seasons.
Evangelization
The evangelization division assists the organization of outreach events for the students of BMHS as well as the larger community. Events include: Christian concerts, mission trips, service projects, pilgrimages, and special community masses (St. Nick’s mass, Mother – Son Mass etc.).
Media
The media division of Campus Ministry provides support for all aspects of Campus Ministry. The media division produces resources for the web, print, and multimedia presentations. Photos of all CM are collected and stored by the media division. Press and news releases are published by the media division as well.

Athletics
The girls basketball team won the 3A state championship in 2003, followed by another championship in 2007. In 2005, led by seniors Jordan Johnson and Greg Schaer, Bishop Machebeuf won the boys' baseball state championship in Class 3A, defeating state powerhouse Eaton in the semifinals and Roosevelt in the championship game. In 2008, Gabriel Meidl won the 3A State Championship for the 400 meter event in track and field. In 2010, Devon White won the 3A State Championship for the 100 meter, 200 meter, and 400 meter events in track and field, and in the process set the state record in the 200m dash for 3A.Championship Team Rosters
