The old Bjørnsletta was a station on the Kolsås Line (line 6) between Åsjordet
and Lysakerelven

was completed. Along with most of the line, Åsjordet has been closed for upgrades since 1 July 2006 and is service is temporarily provided by bus line 43.. The area around Bjørnsletta is mainly residential. After the opening of the line after renovation, Bjørnsletta and Lysakerelven will be replaced by a new station, also to be named Bjørnsletta
