He has previously played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and Parramatta Eels
in the NRL. In October 2010 it was announced that Green inked a 2 year deal with the East Yorkshire outfit, starting from the 2011 Super League season. Blake is linking up with former collague Michael Dobson to form a new partnership at half-back for the Robins.
While attending Westfields Sports High School, Green played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 2004.
