. The station does not yet exist. Although initially forecast to open in 2008, this has since been put back to 2015 since recssion.

The station will be built on a former goods yard that is currently being used by Dairygold as an agricultural goods depot. A disused station is situated adjacent to the proposed site, however, as there was not enough space on the site for car parking, a bus interchange or platform extensions, it was decided to develop a new station on the site of the goods yard.
