The festival has grown in size and grandeur since its initial appearance in 1995 and in 2008 Bluesfest International held an estimated audience of 30,000 people throughout the weekend. The show is presented from Thursday to Sunday every year on the third weekend of July. Ted Boomer is the creator and producer of Bluesfest International.
