Bob Isherwood is an Australia
n businessman, noted for his role as the Worldwide Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi
from 1996 until he resigned in November 2008. He cited as his reason for resigning that, after helping reinvent the company, he needed to reinvent himself. He added that he wanted 'another life in his lifetime' and that he was 'open for business'.

Isherwood returned to Australia in 1982 to become a founding partner of The Campaign Palace, Sydney.
In 1986, he was hired by Saatchi & Saatchi, Sydney, becoming their creative director in 1988.
Isherwood was appointed Worldwide Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi
in 1996. Under his leadership the Network won almost 8,000 significant creative awards.
Isherwood was responsible for the Saatchi & Saatchi Award for World Changing Ideas. Isherwood was also the presenter of the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors’ Showcase at the annual Cannes International Advertising Festival.

Isherwood is currently a partner of i.e., LLC. He is working on bringing consumer engagement and new media to health and healthcare. He is based in Nashville, TN.
He is also currently teaching a course at Vanderbilt University in the Managerial Studies department, entitled "Creative Advertising".

Career
Soon after graduating, Isherwood sailed to the UK to pursue his career. He ended up at Collett, Dickenson, Pearce, considered at the time to be the most creative advertising agency in the world. As a creative group head there, Isherwood helped create and contributed to a number of classic campaigns for the likes of Stella Artois, Parker Pens, Hovis and Harpers Bazaar.Isherwood returned to Australia in 1982 to become a founding partner of The Campaign Palace, Sydney.
