Mr. Edmonds had an outstanding college career in football as a running back at the University of Arkansas where he returned after his football career to complete a bachelor's degree in broadcasting. After contributing to the sport as an occasional sports writer and color commentator, Bobby has been a successful businessman and fine art dealer with an art gallery.

Bobby is Bobby Joe Edmonds, Jr.. While in Seattle he met and later married a woman with whom he had a son; Bobby Jo, III; a gifted young athlete in grade school in Alabama.
