Knutt has had regular roles in pantomime at Sheffield's Crucible & Lyceum theatres. In 2009, Knutt published his autobiography "Eh Up Knutty". He now works as a comedian on cruise ships and does the voice of the "Gaffer" on Tetley Tea Folk TV ads.
