Fictional character history

Led by Bobcat, the Claws were a criminal gang that were responsible for a string of jewelry store robberies. As they attempted the flee their latest crime scene, the Claws were confronted by Hawkeye

 and a battle ensued. During the battle, a dying elderly man called Winston J. Kranpuff (who had a similar possessing ability to Karma

) took control of Hawkeye's mind and body. However, he was unaware that Hawkeye was engaged in battle at the time. Bobcat and the Claws overwhelmed the mind possessed Hawkeye. Kranpuff returned to his body (and later died) allowing Hawkeye to come to his senses. He quickly turned the tables and defeated the criminal gang.

Later, without the aid of the Claws, Bobcat attempted to claim the bounty placed on Hawkeye's arm by the villain Crossfire

The Claws

The five members of Bobcat's criminal gang, known as the Claws, are dressed exactly like him. This is a tactic used to swarm and confuse their enemies. The Claws are all excellent acrobats and skilled fighters.

Powers and abilities

Bobcat has no superhuman ability but is a skilled acrobat and a confident hand-to-hand combatant. Bobcat's gloves are equipped with razor sharp claws capable slicing through metal. He has also been known to use a bola.
