, it offers secondary age education with qualifications up to GCSEs and A-Levels. The current headteacher is Mr David Crowe.

The Boswells School has gained special status for performing arts (Artsmark Gold).

In March 2008, The Independent newspaper ranked the Boswells College 25th in the country for A Level performance by a comprehensive school.

School House Structure

Each year group has 8 form groups, 2 for each House. The four houses are:
  • Mildmay (Shortened to 'M')
  • Mandeville (Shortened to 'L')
  • Seymour (Shortened to 'S')
  • Goldsmith (Shortened to 'G')


Houses compete in inter house competitions throughout the year such as the Year 9 Shakespeare competition and various sporting events including an annual sports day.
