stadium. The stadium's capacity is 5,000 and was built in 1948. The record attendance for Brandon was set during a speedway meeting and stands at 25,000.
The greyhound track is approximately 400 metres (1,312.3 ft) in length while the speedway track, which is inside the dog track is approximately 320 metres (1,049.9 ft) in length. The speedway track is also used for dirt track
stock car racing.
Brandonapolis is an annual event at Brandon which features some of the worlds best speedway riders. It was postponed in 2011 due to the BSPA dispute of the 2011 Elite League Season.
