Early life

Brett Goldin was educated at the King David School, Victory Park, in Johannesburg

In 2004, Goldin wrote his first stage play, a one-man show entitled Bad Apple, which examined what would happen if a Columbine-style killing spree were to occur at a wealthy public school in Johannesburg. The production opened at the Intimate Theatre in Cape Town

Murder

Goldin was murdered alongside a friend, Richard Bloom on April 16, 2006. The two were killed with single shots to the head in Mowbray, Cape Town
