Brett Thomas is an Australian ice hockey player currently playing for the Sydney Ice Dogs in the Australian Ice Hockey League

Thomas scored a personal best in points finishing with 12 goals and 16 assists over 22 games. Following the end of the 2008 AIHL season
Thomas retired from ice hockey, having played five seasons for the Ice Dogs. In 2011 Thomas returned to ice hockey following his retirement two years ago and rejoined the Ice Dogs.
Thomas was first called up to represent Australia in 2007 where he joined the national senior team to compete in the 2007 IIHF World Championship Division II Group B
