in 1979 and
serves the seventh through the eighth grades as part of the Moore Public School District. Brink (1979) is the fifth junior high in the district after Central Junior High (1947), Highland East (1975), Highland West (1975), and Moore West (1976). Most of the school's students go on to attend Westmoore High School

Brink is the home to about 881 students and employs 54 teachers. It also employs three counselors and three administrators. there is a media specialist, a nurse, a speech pathologist and several teaching assistants to assist the students.

The Exploratory Block system is unique. In this elective, students cycle through many courses which last 5 weeks each. There are numerous courses and this elective is Mandatory for students who are not enrolled in Band, Percussion, or Choir classes. The courses offered in the Exploratory Block include the following:
