The British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education is an educational accreditation
agency recognised by the British Government for international students entering the United Kingdom
for educational purposes.
The British Accreditation Council is no longer an approved accrediting body for tier 4 sponsors. In June 2011 new provisions were introduced requiring tier 4 sponsors to obtain educational oversight from one of the listed public bodies.
