In late 2010, Toll was selected as Miss New Mexico USA
2011. She competed at the Miss USA
pageant in June 2011, and won the Fan Favorite award, which allowed her to place in the finals and scored the highest of all the contestants on the "text your vote" portion of the competition.
On March 18, 2011, Toll marched with the United Irish Counties in the annual New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade, and on March 18, 2011, Toll rode a float in the Newark St. Patrick's Day Parade, where she was serenaded by the Boys of St. Gregory's Academy
.
Brittany is currently on Teach For America staff as a MTLD (Manager, Teacher Leadership Development) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brittany supports 24 first and second year Teach For America teachers.
Toll's next steps are to further her education by attending graduate school in the study of psychology or early childhood development. She plans on becoming an advocate for early childhood education and development. She also aspires to become a children's book author and illustrator and she is currently in the process of writing her first book.
Toll also has a blog, whose topic range includes everything from comedy to organizational tips and teaching stories.
