The municipality is located in the Wil Wahlkreis. It consists of the villages of Bronschhofen and Rossrüti as well as the hamlets
of Maugwil, Trungen and the pilgrimage site of Dreibrunnen. The municipalities of Bronschhofen and Wil
are seeking approval from the voters to merge on on 1 January 2013 into a new municipality which will be known as Wil.
