Biography

Woodbury's political career began when he was appointed to the Clark County Commission to fill an open seat in 1981 in District A. He was elected in 1982 to a full term and has been re-elected every four years since then. Woodbury left office in 2009 after he was unable to run in 2008 for reelection due to term limits in Nevada.

Woodbury has twice served as commission chairman. First from 1989 to 1990 and again from 1999 to 2000.
