Vehicles used in the school are actual NASCAR Nextel Cup Ford, Chevy and Dodge race cars which have previously competed in their respective series. Each car weighs approximately 3400 lb (1,542.2 kg) and includes 358 cubic-inch engines with close to 630 hp. The school was the first of its kind to use CD-ROM camera/data acquisition technology in each car. Five different tracks are used for the school:
