singer best known for being the frontman and founding member of the band FireHouse. He co wrote most of the band's songs and has had 7 songs chart in the Billboard Hot 100 Charts, five of which were top 40. He also appears periodically with the band Scrap Metal and works as a Producer and Mixing engineer. Snare is set to launch his solo career with the release of his A Christmas Gift 10 / 2010 and his upcoming collaboration with guitarist, Chris Green in 2011

Some time later, he moved to the Carolinas, where he met bassist
Perry Richardson
. Together, they formed a band called Maxx Warrior and eventually formed FireHouse with guitarist Bill Leverty
and drummer Michael Foster
. The band enjoyed great success during their initial years with several #1 songs and 16 gold and platinum records around the world. FireHouse also won The American Music Award in 1991 for Best New Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Group. Snare has two ASCAP songwriting Awards , and is a voting member of the National Academy Of The Recording Arts And Sciences. ( GRAMMYS )
Snare and FireHouse still tour frequently world wide and are still recording albums. On May 22, 2011 a project set called Rubicon Cross was released with UK guitarist, Chris Green.
He has also released a Christmas Single and co wrote and sang a song called "Do What You Believe", on the Liberty N Justice CD titled Light It Up. He recently collaborated with guitarist George Lynch on a Heavy Metal cover of the U2 song, Pride, scheduled for release early 2011.
Snare keeps his voice
in shape by warming up before shows. He doesn't smoke
and says that he doesn't drink any alcohol
while he's on the road before shows. He currently resides in Wisconsin
with his wife Brenda and sons Connor, and Hunter. He also has a daughter, Heather, who lives in Florida with the rest of his family.
