History
The club was founded as CDNA Sofia in 1964, but changed their name to their present one, CSKA Sofia in 1965. The club has won thirteen Bulgarian Hockey League championships, second in the country, behind HK Levski Sofia. The club dominated the Bulgarian League from 1964-1986, when they won all thirteen of their championships. CSKA also won all twelve of their Bulgarian CupBulgarian Cup (ice hockey)
