History
The original Caledonia High School building now serves as the grade school. The new Middle School/High School opened for the 2002-2003 school year. In the 2009-2010 year, Paul DeMorrett took over administration of the school.Schedule Changes
As a budget-cutting measure, DeMorrett and the school board heavily altered the school's daily schedule. The former block schedule was replaced by a seven-period schedule. This move has been criticized by parents and students concerned about the loss of potential credits for students and the reduction in time for laboratory periods in science classes such as chemistryChemistry

- 1974 - Class B Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) State Football Runner-up.
- 1975 - Football - Undefeated, but not selected for playoffs.
- 1976 - Class B MSHSL State Football Champions, undefeated.
- 1997 – Class AA MSHSL Men's Basketball State Champions, undefeated.
- 1998 – Class AA MSHSL Women's Basketball State Runner-up, 28-1 record
- 2000 – Baseball - Undefeated Southeast Conference Champions. (First as well as last in conference history, as it was disbanded in 2003).
- 1970 - Wrestling - MSHSL State Champions
- 1984 - Wrestling - MSHSL Class A State Runner Up
- 1967-1974 - Wrestling - Caledonia won 83 consecutive dual meet matches. This was a state record that held for 36 years, The record was broke by Apple Valley on January 9, 2010.
- 2010-2011 Austin Gorgen won Back to back State Championships in wrestling.
