Caloocan railway station

Caloocan railway station is a defunct railway station that is situated on the Northrail line, where services of Philippine National Railways
and its precursors used to halt. It was situated in Apolinario Mabini St., beside Sangandaan Police Station. The station was supposed to be replaced by a new one as a result of the rehabilitation of Southrail and the Northrail project, a rebuilding of the line from Manila to Pampanga
which would partly use the old right-of-way. The project commenced in 2007, construction has halted though as of 2011. The ill-governed Northrail project may continue after renegotiation, possibly in a changed way.
