The Canada School of Public Service, formed on April 1, 2004, is the major educational institution for the Government of Canada
. Located in Ottawa, Ontario, the school was formed by merging three agencies -- the Canadian Centre for Management Development (CCMD), Training and Development Canada (TDC) and Language Training Canada (LTC).
The mandate of the Canada School of Public Service (CSPS) is to "ensure that all public service employees have the knowledge
and skills they need to deliver results for Canadians."
