Candido Amantini

Candido Amantini was an Italian Roman Catholic priest and a full-time exorcist. He also taught Sacred Scripture and moral theology. He produced a book entitled Il Mistero di Maria, about the Virgin Mary.
He was born in Bagnolo di Santa Fiora, Province of Grosseto

Father Gabriele Amorth
became his apprentice, in June 1986, and then eventually took over his position. After a painful illness, he died in Rome on the Feast of Saint Candido, his patron saint.
