Cannington Station is a Transperth

, on the Armadale / Thornlie Line. The original station used to be located between Station Street and Crawford Road in East Cannington, and was one of the original stations operational when the Armadale Line opened in 1889.
The original Cannington Train Station was demolished during the upgrade of the rail line from diesel to electric as there needed to be further distances between stations, and the original station was only 500 m from Beckenham Train Station. The new Cannington Train Station near Cecil Avenue is within walking distance of Westfield Carousel
shopping centre. This station serves as in important interchange between Thornlie station and all stations between Beckenham and Armadale
