Cape Armitage is a cape forming the south end of Hut Point Peninsula
and the southernmost point on Ross Island
. Discovered by the Discovery expedition, 1901–04, under Scott, and named by him for Lieutenant (later Captain) Albert B. Armitage, second in command and navigator on the Discovery.
