's Development Capital arm. Later it was given to Olivia and Thomas McKee, Noel McKee's daughter and son.

In 1998 Carcraft paid £10 million for a car supermarket from Car Group while Car Group was in receivership.

In December 2005 Carcraft became the first independent second-hand vehicle retailer to create and found a contract hire car company.
