Carole Malone appeared on This Morning to argue against Ruth Hall, from the group Women Against Rape, that women, particularly those under the influence of alcohol, are partially responsible for their own rape. This caused outrage amongst women’s groups and victims of rape crime and resulted in the setting up of a Facebook group for survivors of rape.
Malone also angered many residents in the county of Cumbria after she wrote a piece for the 'News of the World' on the Derrick Bird shootings.
