(1979-2010). It takes place in the Central Oregon
region and is based in Bend, Oregon
. It is a regular fixture for most of North America's top cyclists and teams. In recent years the race has been sponsored by the Bend Memorial Clinic while being organized by the Mt. Bachelor Ski Education Foundation.
