CeCe is the upcoming, fourth solo studio album by CeCe Peniston
, originally intended for its release already in 2009.
Two digital singles were pre-issued by now - "Above Horizons
" (the official PTA
anthem) in June 2009, and In Love with a DJ
", a song recorded in collaboration with producer Ron Carroll
, in July 2010. Shortly after the singer allowed prelistening of additional unreleased tracks, three compositions leaked out on the internet and were available to download - "Runway
", considered to be the lead international single, "He Say, She Say", a duet with Montell Jordan
, and "Piece of That" with Mateo
. On tracks called "Grown Man" and "Fire" she collaborated with DJ Vudu Spellz.
In February 2011, Peniston signed a record contract with West Swagg Music Group
that currently has a label deal with Bungalo Records
, with full distribution through Universal Music Group Distribution. In a shortly followed interview presented by Red Planet Blue Moon Productions LLC, a video production and photography company, Peniston announced her new singel on the new label is to be out by May 2011. "Stoopid!
" was eventually released on April 26 on iTunes

At the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of "Finally," Peniston made a remix of the song with Paul Oakenfold
