Cedric Messina

Cedric Messina was a South African born British television producer and director for the BBC of mainly classic drama. Messina attended school in Johannesburg
and moved to the United Kingdom after the second world war.
He was the supervisor of the first two seasons (twelve plays) of the BBC Television Shakespeare
and the producer of eighty-two productions in the Play of the Month
series from 1965 onwards.
