Founded in 1999, celum is the vendor of celum Imagine, a digital media asset management solution and offers related services to multinational organizations and mid- to large-scale businesses. celum's target groups are marketing, sales, PR and corporate communications & documentation as well as training departments across all industries.
celum IMAGINE is powered by J2EE technology and the Spring framework , it actually was the first ever commercial standard software built on this now widespread framework. Also remarkable is the focus on a modern and easy to use user interface built upon AJAX and Adobe FLEX.
celum Imagine is designed to manage, edit and distribute all types of digital media assets like photos, graphics, videos and presentations. The product can be licensed and installed on-site or leased as an ASP edition.
As of September 1, 2008 it is used by more than 300 customers worldwide . Headquartered in Linz, Austria, Celum Imagine has recently opened a new office in the UK.
