Brandon Park is believed to have opened in 1970, and was originally owned by a Victorian electricity superannuation fund. In 1997, it was acquired by MCS Property for A$65 million. The performance strength of the Coles
supermarket at the centre was noted as being one of the strongest in the state. In 2003, Centro acquired MCS Property Limited, and has since managed the centre.
