 Ji. Chakmoh is among the most large and prosperous village of Hamirpur. It is almost rich with every facility that required mostly for survive in a village from water to electricity, education and transport etc.

In spite of all things Chakmoh is a developed village. The origin story of Chakmoh is very old. It has lots of features that makes it most developed and beautiful village of the state. It is a very large village having population of approximately 2000 people. The temple of Baba Balak Nath G is just 2 km. away from here. It has good connection with the main road as being a main and large village of district.

Education Centers:


It is great education hub which includes two colleges. One college is B.B.N.P.G. College Chakmoh having Science, Arts and Commerce stream and also Master classes for Sanskrit and Hindi subjects.

The second college of village is Shri. Vishav Nath Sanskrit College Chakmoh offering a graduate degree in Sanskrit language. Both the colleges are affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University Shimla. Students came here from different parts of state to acquire graduate degree in Sanskrit language"Shashtri".

In spite of these the village has one Senior Secondary School and two Govt. Primary schools for education.
