, will be almost surrounded by water within the next few years. This will further enhance the beauty of the village. Major attractions include "the Bani", a small lagoon west of the village. Chandral boasts a number of highly decorated multi-story houses which have been made as holiday homes by Chandralis living abroad. These houses are common of the Mirpur area but are most beautiful in Chandral.
