become the King's royal concubine, she makes Chang-ee her kitchen's assistant. At the end of the series, Chang-ee is promoted to a Sang-Goong(Kitchen Court Lady) after returning to the Royal Kitchen.

Chang-ee is portrayed as a kind girl. However, she likes to munch on food as she cooks, and prefers to eat than cook. In fact, Jang Geum's daughter asked was she the lady who ate lots of good food all the time. She is played by Choi Ja-hye (최자혜 (崔慈慧)) in the series.
