 and was therefore produced as a collection of leftovers only put on record to fulfill contractual obligations. Chaos and Disorder was one of Prince's least commercially successful releases and met mixed reviews upon release. Some reviewers commented that had it not been a Prince release, it would have been met with much wider approval. The album reached #26 in the US and #14 in the UK, and is now out of print.
