Charlotte “Charkie” Phillips is an American choreographer best known as a water ballet choreographer for television and films in the 1970s and 80s. She was born in Ohio began her dance training at the age of three in Atlanta, Georgia, and was accepted at the age of eight into the Southern Ballet Company.
In New York City she studied dance at the Ballet Russes and after moving to California she appeared as a dancer on television programs such as The Mac Davis Show, the Mitzi Gaynor Special, the Entertainer of the Year Awards. In addition to choreographing water ballet for The Krofftettes

, Charkie staged synchronized swimming for thirteen episodes of NBC's The Big Show
