PC(AP) publishes Acción Proletaria magazine and Remolino Popular newspaper.

PC(AP) was part of Juntos PODEMOS. In 2002 the party had joined Frente "Unidos Venceremos". In 1984 it had joined Coordinadora de Organizaciones Revolucionarias.

The first secretary of PC(AP) is Eduardo Artés.
